Man, have I told you lately {that I love you} that I feel like one of the luckiest bloggers around? Yes, yes, I keep reminding you about once a week on average, I realise that… But what can I do when it’s true! I feel so lucky to be getting such an amazing amount of support from other bloggers, and for this I am grateful beyond words…

    McNally Jackson Books.

    15th March

Check out McNally Jackson’s bookshop cafe in New York by Front Studio. The interior was designed around a book as an central object – so simple and clever. I love the wallpaper made out of book pages and the small folding timber tables, but I’m not so sure that the light fittings with books are all that successful – although they are kind of cute, they seem a little bit weak to me.

Perhaps more books would have looked better creating a canopy of sorts, or an installation such as a book chandelier. Oh yes, I think that a chandelier of books would have looked incredible!
