• BIG Day For My Little Blog.

    26th February

I am too excited for words. Today my little blog had a very big day – I was featured on the seriously fabulous Design For Mankind. My goodness, this is huge people. Huge I tell ya! You can read the post right here.

Design For Mankind is an award-winning blog dedicated to showcasing the talents of the emerging art and design community, with some serious “blog cred” {I thought that this occasion called for a new, made up word}. This is the first ever press coverage for yellowtrace, and you’ve all probably worked out that I am beyond excited. But above all, I am so grateful to Erin for her generosity and support. Thank you Erin…

    Interview with Ryan Russell.

    26th February

Oh. My. Goodness! I can barely contain my excitement people! Ryan Rusell is in the house!!!

Ryan first came onto my radar back in 2007 when his first solo project, Left, was nominated for an Interior Design Award in the Retail Category, and his practice was awarded Emerging Interior Design Practicethe same year. There was something about Ryan’s work that instantly drew me in, and I’ve been watching this young man go from strength to strength ever since…

    24th February

Hello… Are you ready for our third photography assignment? This week Husband was learning about The Colour of Light. This assignment builds on last week’s lesson which was all about the introduction to Light. And if you’ve just joined us, first week’s assignment about Composition is right here.

    Pothole Gardens by Pete Dungey.

    23rd February

Pothole Gardens is a series of ongoing public installations by Pete Dungey, highlighting the problem of surface imperfections on Britain’s roads. “If we planted one of those in every hole, it would be like a forest in the road”, says Pete.
